It's good to back home in San Francisco after 9 months of living in Los Angeles!

Shawn Whisenant: Shawn Whisenant is a born and raised San Francisco Bay Area artist whose art can be found lurking in thes treets or in galleries and museums across the USA, Australia, and Europe. He has been working on the streetsof the Bay Area since the mid 1990ʼs, where his images continue to endure on walls, mailboxes, and other surfaces around the city. He enjoys making books and stickers, taking photos, painting signs, and moving about in the cityʼs shadows. In the streets and galleries, his work has seen many different forms. From rare-hand crafted books, to skateboard films and a signature pair of Osiris shoes, his creating doesnʼt end with painting. He has participated in group shows worldwide and has shown solo in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York. Museums he has shown in include Di Rosa Preserve, San Jose Moma, Los Angeles Asian Art Museum, and the Triton Museum of Art. His art and photography has appeared in numerous publications such as Thrasher Magazine, Transworld, Beautiful Decay, Juxtapoz. Some of his clients include Vans shoes, Adidas Shoes,Hurley, Osiris shoes and many more. He writes for 48 Blocks and currently lives in San Francisco.
